UNCERTAIN GERMANIC TRIBES, Pseudo-Imperial coinage. Early 3rd to mid 4th centuries. Denarius (Silver, 16 mm, 3.18 g, 12 h), imitating Commodus, 180-192. MΛNIUNI[...]VEBΛΛZΛBΛΛ Laureate head of Commodus to right. Rev. ZEVDAIT[...]EPII / INVI Securitas seated left, holding globe in her right hand and leaning left on throne. Cf. RIC 179 (for protoype). Nicely toned. Very fine.
